I'm still a bit of a skeptic when it comes to the human involvement in global warming. Now comes news that we're in a period of global cooling, according to some articles. But it turns out, that was a bunch of misplaced and misunderstood hoopla. Another article sets the record straight and looks at better statistics. We should not only look at surface air temperatures, but we should consider ocean temps as well. Instead of just looking at sea ice coverage, and in a short term, it seems it's better to look at sea ice volume. And a comparison with a low number to begin with (record low in sea ice coverage) can make any upturn look stupendous. (Hey, we won double the games we did last year! We're awesome! We're great! We're now 2-14 for the year!)
Yea for data!
